What type of dance is the hardest type of dance...Pointe

i think contemporary ballet might be the hardest since it has to portray emotion as well as physical precision. i was watching so you think you can dance and i was blown away by some of the performances. I think breaking may blow everything out of the water when it comes to style though. im going to pick contemporary ballet though.

I don't know if I agree cuz sometimes using emotion can take away from the technicality of the dance, in pointe either you got it or you don't. But I do think breaking is actually the hardest, I'm sure those neck spins hurt.

Ballet i think is the hardest type of dance. there's so many Technical aspects of it, every movement has to be precise and exact. It takes alot of work to master ballet, I believe ballet is a dance style that you almost have to a a natural gift for it, because it is so difficult. i do believe ballet is one of the most beautiful types of dancing next to contemporary modern, but its without a doubt the hardest dance style.
